Applications For Funding Support
Applications are available to those who are part of or related to business carried out within the timber industry from within the confines of the geographical boundaries described as the area bounded in the north by the North Cape, and in the south by a line drawn east/west from Opotiki through Turangi and Taumaranui and then to Awakino in the west (see map).
Applications for funding assistance and/or support may be initially submitted in writing to any of the Trustees at their postal or email address.
Early considerations by the Trustees will include University scholarships and timber training courses for management and yardman positions.
Two decisions approving funding support have been taken within the financial year to 31 March 2017, these being a Timber Scholarship with Massey University Albany Campus that will be known as the Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust Training Scholarship, as well as having Competenz facilitate three First-Line Management courses and three Yardman training courses.
