Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust (NTACT) provides a source of funding assistance to specifically advance the education of timber industry participants in the upper regions of the North Island.
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust is a Registered Charity (Registration Number 2625733). Our registration can be viewed for free online at register.charities.govt.nz by conducting a Register Search.
NTACT evolved from the former Northern Timber Association, which ended its services to membership with its voluntary winding-up on 4th March 2016.
The membership of the Northern Timber Association included all timber industry participants that were located in the area bounded in the north by the North Cape and in the south by a line drawn east/west from Opotiki through Turangi and Taumaranui to Awakino in the west (see map).
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust has adopted the same area, deeming it appropriate for their ongoing commitment to supporting the New Zealand timber industry.
