Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust (NTACT) has been established to provide a funding assistance source to specifically advance the education of timber industry participants in the upper regions of the North Island.
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust has been registered as an Incorporated Society (No 2625733), which registration can be viewed for free online at www.societies.govt.nz by conducting a Register Search.
NTACT has evolved from the former Northern Timber Association that ended its services to its membership with its voluntary winding up on 4th March 2016.
The membership of the Northern Timber Association included all timber industry participants that were located in the area bounded in the north by the North Cape, and in the south by a line drawn east/west from Opotiki through Turangi and Taumaranui and then to Awakino in the west (see map).
The Northern Timber Association Charitable Trust has adopted the same area as being appropriate for their ongoing commitment to supporting the New Zealand timber industry.
